        In fact, to be honest, I didn't think how serious the virus epidemic was before the Chinese New Year. Of course, everyone felt that way at that time.

        A few days before the government closed the village, I was working part-time at a supermarket near my home. Many people came and went in the supermarket every day. No one wore a mask, and so did I. We all thought that the virus seems to be far away from us all. But no one expected that the village would be closed as soon as we woke up. The red cordon was pulled up, and the street was empty. Occasionally, there were several people wearing masks in a hurry. My mother stopped me at the door, and I counted as ending my winter vacation working life ahead of schedule. 

        Of course, my family was getting bored at home. When mom and dad were not doing anything, they turned on the speakers and sang in the yard. Every night after dinner was our family's walk time, our family wore masks to walk along the road with few people. Fortunately, Dad had enough food for the New Year before so we could keep staying at home and not be hungry.

        Although this epidemic caused our family to be boring at home, these free time allowed our family to have enough time and space to stay together and enjoy this wonderful reunion time. I really hope that the epidemic would pass quickly, after all, spring has arrived.
